After their first passionate kiss, Dawson and Joey start to have doubts about whether their relationship will actually work. Joey has to make a decision about her trip to France as soon as possible, and a grief-stricken Jen looks to Dawson for support when her Gramps dies. Meanwhile, Pacey is making friends with the new girl in town, Andie McPhee, after their cars collide.
