A Touch of Frost: Dancing in the Dark

It's a difficult time at Denton. The force is coming under savage pressure to achieve targets and Detective Inspector Jack Frost is relieved when Superintendent Mullett informs him that bright, fast tracked Detective Constable Jasper Tranter has arrived on attachment to help. Frost takes an immediate shine to the young policeman and invites him to become his lodger. Frost has his work cut out when the body of a man is found on top of a mountain of glass at a council recycling plant. His investigation is immediately hampered, as there is nothing to identify the victim, apart from an empty wallet and a denture with one gold tooth. It appears that the dead man had been dumped after choking on his own vomit and things take a bizarre twist when the pathologists discover some strange things during the autopsy. (HD)(d)
