The Brittas Empire: The Chop

Comedy series starring Chris Barrie as the newly appointed manager of the Whitby Leisure Centre, Gordon Brittas. Brittas, a Basil Fawlty of the 90s, is a man with a dream, a man with a mission - but a man without a single ounce of sensitivity. As manager he leaves no stone unturned in his vision of a new world of efficiency - a vision that inevitably ends in chaos. Gordon devises a board game for his plan for the future fortnight, but Councillor Drugget has plans for Gordon's future. Helen borrows money from the petty cash box and Carole's son is growing out of his cupboard.
