The Outer Limits: Essence of Life

After a virus wiped out most of the world's population a new civilisation has developed which is ruled by a group called 'The Code' whom forbid any outwardly signs of emotion (such as grief). However social terrorists allow the living a brief reunion with their deceased loved ones through the use of a smuggled substance stemming from the world's original inhabitants. Whilst trying to capture these terrorists The Code agent Kagan can't resist his temptation to visit his late wife, but will this lapse of will power destroy his career, or even worse, his life?
