Liquor-loving NYPD officer Jack Mosley (Bruce Willis, pictured) has one job to do before clocking-off: transport mouthy witness Eddie Bunker (Mos Def, pictured) the 16 blocks from the lock-up to the courthouse. It should be a simple task, but Bunker is the key witness in an investigation against corrupt police. Things get crazy when Jack stops for a drink, leaving Eddie at the mercy of dirty cop Frank Nugent (David Morse) and his team of snipers.
Lethal Weapon's Richard Donner directs this thumping thriller, which focuses on the mismatched relationship that develops between Jack and Eddie. It may come as no surprise that Jack is one of the bad guys, but that's the only one you'll spot - Donner keeps the twists coming thick and fast. Released in 2006, it's a sure-fire hit for die-hard Willis fans.
