The Bill: An Unwanted Death

A road traffic accident turns into a drugs investigation when a quantity of cocaine is found in the crashed vehicle. The driver is dead, but Yvonne is more interested in his passenger, none other than Shirley Moss, who's suffered two broken legs. However, when she begins to question the errant teenager about her continued involvement in drugs, Yvonne soon has reason to believe the youngster isn't the architect of her own downfall - especially after the PC's sister, Beverley, is spotted entering a dealer's flat being staked out by Ken and Suzie. Elsewhere, Mark is upset that his colleagues in SO19 have discovered he is gay, but with the secret now out he throws caution to the wind and decides to take his relationship with Lance one step further - it looks like Sun Hill is about to witness its first gay wedding. With romance in the air, the Christmas party gets into full swing, and new girl Amber certainly enjoys herself - and causes much gossip - by very publicly kissing one of the barmaids - but sadly it looks like love is off the cards for Neil when he spies lover Andrea in a passionate embrace with Smithy.
