Carrie's nerves threaten to ruin her dream date with fellow author Jack Berger so the girls suggest that she go on a "Sim-u-date" with another man to relieve her stress and take the edge off the situation. Charlotte is equally besotted with Harry but he refuses to commit to a serious relationship because she is not Jewish. Meanwhile Miranda finally admits to herself that she is in love with Steve but has difficulty admitting this fact to him. Samantha, as usual, doesn't seem to be having any problems with men.
