When Miranda bumps into Steve, he invites her to the opening of his new bar. Miranda feels confused, as she was the one who had encouraged him to be so ambitious when they were in a relationship. Carrie also receives an invitation to the opening of "Scout" and is shocked to read that Aidan is Steve's "silent partner." Meanwhile, Charlotte embarks on redecorating Trey's apartment, but she's thwarted by her mother-in-law Bunny's domineering influence over Trey.
