ER: A Shot in the Dark

The 15-year-old son of a police officer is faced with a tough decision when his father is admitted to the emergency room with a potentially fatal gunshot wound. The critically injured officer's son must decide whether to give his consent to a risky operation which may save his father's life, or to leave him permanently comatose. Meanwhile, Abby tries to convince a girl with appendicitis to have surgery, but her father insists on having her transferred to another hospital after it transpires that his father died during an operation at County General.
