Meanwhile, new doctor Abby treats an injured young woman who was kidnapped from Mexico and forced into sexual slavery. Neela struggles to convince her strict parents that she's made her mind up about leaving the medical profession, and later, Carter treats an Iraqi war veteran who was disfigured in combat.
