This episode tracks St Mary's specialist midwives who help parents through high-risk pregnancies. Miranda, a midwife at the recurrent miscarriage clinic, tries to help an anxious patient through a longed-for pregnancy while Gretta, the diabetes midwife, struggles to get a troublesome teen mum at risk of stillbirth to come into hospital. And Claire, the midwife for women with serious health problems, deals with a 34-year-old woman who has received a transplanted kidney and whose pregnancy is now putting her life in danger
