Phil returns to Sheffield to make a house call on a couple of doctors and to check that a fire-fighter's dreams haven't gone up in smoke. Fire-fighter Justin and his sales manager wife Deborah had £250,000 burning a hole in their back pocket and were desperate to find the perfect doer-upper to settle down in. They'd been hunting for their dream family home for over two years with no success: not surprising given Justin's very definite, but misguided, ideas about what he should be able to afford, and his fear of losing out to developers. And Kirstie was in her element showing GP Andy and consultant psychiatrist Artie some of the finest slices from the high end of Sheffield's property market. With their budget of £700,000 they should have been in seventh heaven, but couldn't agree on the kind of property they were after.
