Fraggle Rock

"Fraggle Rock" is one of the most popular children's programmes of all time! Featuring Doc and his dog Sprocket who have a hole in their wall, behind which live little furry creatures known as Fraggles in a place called Fraggle Rock.

The Rock is also home to the Doozers, who are knee-high to a Fraggle, and the Gorg's, who are giants that think they rule the Rock. One gang of Fraggles, Gobo, Mokey, Wembley, Boober, and Red, eventually befriend the Doozers, the Gorgs and even Doc and Sprocket.

Gobo is the most adventurous Fraggle, who leads the rest of the Fraggles. Uncle Matt gives Gobo his adventurous strike as he sends him postcards of his latest and greatest travel; Gobo really wants to be like him when he grows up. Gobo's best friend is Wembley and they do everything together!

Mokey is the Poet Fraggle, but she is also a great artist and painter. Boober says: "She can write a meaningful poem about anything-even radishes!" Red is Mokey's friend and often wishes she could do things as good as mokey, but she has her own talents!

Red is the most enthusiastic, energetic fraggle, she loves to have parties, and celebrations, and spends a typical day, chasing Gorg's, splashing in the swimming pool and practising her new gymnastics tricks to perfection.

Wembley often visits the Trash Heap for advice, as he is the worrier of the fraggles. He even ties knots in his tail for luck because he worries so much! Wembley really admires Gobo, and wishes he was adventures, and carefree.

Boober is a shy Fraggle whose best friend is Wembley; the problem is they always seem to find themselves wrapped up in one of Gobos adventures, but unlike Gobo they're not really cut out for chasing Gorg's although Boober admires Gobo's bravery. He also admires Mokey's artistic talents. Boober always expects the worst, and has a doom-and gloom attitude, however he always seems to come up with the best plans for rescuing his friends from the Gorg's.

The Doozers build all day with crystallised radishes through the caves of Fraggle Rock, where they live! The fraggles are always coming and eating the radishes, but the doozers don't mind because they love to build. They mostly try to keep out of everyone's way though!

The Gorg's are called, Junior, Ma and Pa, they rule over the Radish Garden. They are very nasty to the fraggles and always try to chase and thump them. The three Gorges are the only ones left of their kind, but they truly believe that they are king and queen of their race! The Gorg's are a big problem for the Fraggles as their favourite food is radishes and they only grow in the Gorg's garden.

Sprocket is Doc's dog; Doc is a human inventor. Fraggle Rock is underneath their house, but Doc has no idea that the fraggle's exist. Sprocket however is more than aware of their existence, he likes to try and catch them and the problem for the fraggles is that Doc, and Sprockets house is the only root out of the Fraggle's world.

This classic cartoon is loved by many, and with such adorable characters it's no wonder!
