When Joe and Mike discover that Norman is entering Pontypandy's big go-kart race The Pontypandy Cup they get very nostalgic about the go-karts they made when they were kids. / It's snowy and Norman is directing his very first movie up in the mountains. Sam and Elvis are also up in the mountains on their way to a skiing lesson with Penny. / Mandy is inspired to fly her kite over Pontypandy Mountain. Meanwhile, Sam is puzzled by a spate of emergencies around Pontypandy. / When Bronwyn decides she needs to record some relaxing whalesong Charlie offers to take her out on the skiff to find a whale. / Norman, Mandy, Sarah and James are having a sleepover at Mandy's house. Norman is determined that it will be the 'Best Sleepover Ever'. / Gareth Griffiths and Station Officer Steele compete to make themselves more interesting to Sarah and James which soon lands all four of them in terrible danger.
