Norman Trevor and Dilys go camping and see the sunset from the woods. Dilys panics thinking it is a forest fire and she unwittingly knocks a log from the camp fire. / When Joe and Mike discover that Norman is entering Pontypandy's big go-kart race The Pontypandy Cup they get very nostalgic about the go-karts they made when they were kids. / Woolly is sent to stay with Norman who is ill whilst Mike mends her field's gate. Unfortunately Norman and Woolly go out resulting in Trevor's bus swerving off the road. / There's trouble for Trevor Evans as the school bus breaks down in the Pontypandy hills. Mobile phones have no signal up in the Welsh hills and he is stranded - with a beast about. / It is Station Officer Steele's day off from the Fire Service. Elvis persuades Sam to let him be in charge at the fire station
