Lesser Spotted Ulster: Rathlin Island Co. Antrim

Joe Mahon returns with another quirky travel series in which he explores the beautiful, but often overlooked, nooks and crannies of the Ulster countryside and exchanges banter with local people. In the first of two episodes, Joe travels to Rathlin Island in County Antrim, where he marvels both at the natural beauty of the cliffs, and at the bravery of the natives who regularly scaled them in search of food. He also learns how to make a good living from kelp, and hears about the hardships and the benefits of island life.
