Lesser Spotted Ulster: Middletown

Quirky travel series exploring the beautiful nooks and crannies of the Ulster countryside. Joe Mahon visits Middletown, County Armagh, to try and resolve the riddle of Middletown's 'middle-ness'. He discovers that the town is in a spot where three counties meet, as he finds himself straying into Monaghan and Tyrone in pursuit of tales connected to castles, mail-coaches, honey and lace-making. While he declines the invitation to try his hand at crochet, Joe cannot resist sampling some Middletown honey, especially with the area's strong tradition of bee-keeping.
