Lesser Spotted Ulster: Kingscourt

Joe Mahon returns with another quirky travel series in which he explores the beautiful, but often overlooked, nooks and crannies of the Ulster countryside and exchanges banter with the local citizenry. This week Joe travels to the village of Kingscourt in County Cavan, where he explores both the beauty and the history of Dun a Ri Forest Park, which wasn't quite as peaceful as it is now when it was the village of Cabra. He also visits a forge where ironwork has been elevated to the level of art, and marvels at what is possibly the largest toy car collection in Ireland.
