Lesser Spotted Ulster: Eglinton

Quirky travel series exploring the beautiful nooks and crannies of the Ulster countryside. This episode finds Joe Mahon in Eglinton, County Londonderry, a Plantation village that used to be called by another name. He visits the manor house where he takes a look at some old maps and wonders how a customs officer was able to buy the whole village in the 1870s. He spends some time exploring the local graveyard with a genealogist and finds the graves of some local notables, before taking a tour of some very royal trees - which came complete with instructions.
