Lesser Spotted Ulster: Annaclone

Joe Mahon returns with the quirky travel series in which he explores the beautiful - but often overlooked - nooks and crannies of the Ulster countryside and exchanges banter with the local citizenry. Joe travels to Annaclone in County Down, where people love their history. He hears all about a famous and eccentric archaeological dig which unearthed many surprises, while a very youthful enthusiast shows him how busy the local historical society have been. He discovers the young are not the only ones keeping busy in Annaclone as he gets a knitting lesson from a high-spirited, harmonica-playing 99-year-old!
