Quarter-finals
The Acura Classic, held at the La Costa Resort and Spa in San Diego from 30 July - 5 August 2007, is amongst the top ten largest non-grand slam women's tennis tournaments in the world. First held in 1984 and renowned for its stellar line-up the competition has gone from strength to strength, reflected in its promotion to a Tier I competition in 2004 and general prize fund of $1,340,000.
