On 11-19 October, the Tier II Zurich Open promises to be a festival of top-quality tennis. Four of the world's top 10 women players have already signed up for Zurich, one of the most important indoor tennis tournaments on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour, featuring $600,000 prize money. Since 2005, the Hallenstadion indoor arena in Zurich is the new home of the European women's indoor tennis championships, where the centre court capacity is 6.800 seats.
