This year The Porsche Tennis Grand Prix returns to The TennisSporthalle, Filderstadt, Germany from the 3rd to the 9th October. The Porsche Tennis Grand Prix is a Tier II Indoor/ Harcourt tournament offering total prize money of 650,000 US Dollars and has from the very first tournament in 1978, associated itself with a Grand Slam calibre main draw. This is evidenced by last year's tournament when 17 of the world's top 20 players lined up at the Porsche tournament which ended in an extremely exciting final which saw the then world number one, Amelie Mauresmo defeated by then world number 2 Lindsay Davenport 6-2, ret.
