Live coverage from Manchester of the World Championship trials, introduced by Hazel Irvine. A maximum of three places are on offer for each event, but a top-two finish will only earn selection provided those athletes have also regularly achieved the highest qualifying standard throughout the year. Among the highlights should be the men's 400m final featuring fit-again former European number one Tim Benjamin, world junior medallist Martyn Rooney and current top-ranked Briton Andrew Steele.
