The Fishing Lesson. A newly unearthed story by Brian Friel, known as the Irish Chekhov for his plays Philadelphia Here I Come!, Translations and Faith Healer. Having recently been rediscovered in the BBC archive, it has not been heard for almost 70 years, and tells the tale of a regret-ridden man who is older but, perhaps, not yet wiser.
