Bits of Belfast: Falls Road

Former Northern Ireland International footballer Gerry Armstrong sets out on a voyage of re-discovery when he returns to his native Falls Road, which he left more than 30 years ago. As well as tracing his childhood and teenage footsteps, he uncovers the rich cultural, political and sporting traditions that flow through the veins of this most historic area, from the wall murals, which capture 30 years of the Troubles, to the colour and spectacle of the international 'FeIle'. He even gets the chance for a kickabout with some of his mates from the 1982 World Cup Squad!
