Tilly and Penny organise a charity wine-tasting event, prompting Miranda to do something for a good cause. However, a stint volunteering at a rest home and an attempted parachute jump do not go according to plan. She is overjoyed when old friends Chris and Alison ask her to be godmother to their baby, but she soon remembers what an annoying couple they are, and sets about trying to prove she is not a worthwhile candidate for the role.
