More post-prison antics with the old jailbird who won the nation's hearts. At the hotel where he is night porter, Fletch recognises an old confidence trickster whose scam was to steal jewellery left in the night safe by a female accomplice, who then claims compensation. The big question is whether the new, reformed Fletch will stop the crime and stay true to his new self.
