Carrie and Barry: The Mummy

Sitcom about a cab driver, his beautician wife and teenage daughter. Having discovered she is adopted, Carrie agonises over whether to track down her biological mother. Barry is sympathetic at first, but finally cracks, bored to tears. Feeling guilty, he decides to give Carrie a special present - a film, shot by himself. It's not long before he realises a book token would have been a lot easier.
