The Infinite Monkey Cage: The Deep Space Network

Brian Cox and Robin Ince visit Canberra for the first of four episodes recorded in Australia. They begin at the Canberra Deep Space Communication Centre, where scientists communicate with and track the 200 or so spacecraft that are currently exploring the solar system and beyond. They learn how despite these many missions, so little is still known about the universe, and how the explorations are vital to understanding the Earth.
