Church Going with Giles Fraser

The Rev Giles Fraser is concerned about the current state of church attendance, so he sets out to explore the overall decline in worship since the 1960s, and imagines what will happen to the churches themselves, and to the Christian faith, if people stop going entirely. He begins by finding out how the clergy cope with the stress that comes with falling numbers, witnesses the last service at a Methodist church in Northumberland and finds out why where are so many churches in the first place.
