Don't Tell the Bride: Nick and Vicky

Series in which the bride-to-be takes a back seat and leaves all the wedding plans to the groom. Victoria is leaving the most important day of her life in the hands of her fiance, Nick, who plays top-flight rugby league. They met two years ago, but Victoria fell ill with a life-threatening condition. She was diagnosed will Guillain-Barre syndrome, an autoimmune disorder that attacks the nervous system. It was a difficult start to their relationship, with three months stuck in hospital, but Nick never left her side. Two years on and Victoria is completely back on her feet, but because of her illness they have not been able to afford a place of their own, and currently live with Nick's parents.
