Part one of two. The Irwins experience 50 years of black British history, discovering how post-war Caribbean immigration transformed the way of life in the UK. The first edition sees them learn what life was like for arrivals coming to Britain in the 1950s and '60s, with presenter Giles Coren and social historian Emma Dabiri introducing them to their new homes and the family sampling the food, work and entertainment of first-generation West Indian immigrants in Brixton.
