As autumn arrives in the city, nature reserve warden Maureen prepares for the arrival of wild ponies, which will stay all winter and graze the undergrowth. Conservationist Aaron builds a pond on the hill, Alannah monitors the river for pollution by looking for small creatures buried in the mud and Clare forages for nuts and berries
