River Monsters: Killers From the Abyss (Part 1)

Part one of two. Extreme angler Jeremy Wade takes on the biggest investigation of his career, hoping to unravel the exact fate of ocean liner RMS Laconia, which after being converted into an armed merchant cruiser was torpedoed by a German U-boat in the mid-Atlantic in September 1942. At the time of the attack the vessel was carrying a mixture of British soldiers, Polish soldiers, Italian prisoners of war and civilians, 1,500 of whom died. This investigation leads Jeremy to the largest fish he had ever caught, as well as the deepest place he had ever been
