James Jolly presents the complete version of Telemann's Water Music, as chosen in yesterday's Building a Library in Record Review. James also explores how other composers have treated aquatic themes, including Handel, Smetana, Chausson and Grainger. The week's young artists are the Choird of Clare College, Cambridge, and the neglected classic is Frank Bridge's The Sea. As opart of Radio 3's Canada 150 week, James also focuses on Canadian contralto Marie-Nicole Lemieux, with her recording of Enescu's Sept Chansons de Clement Marot.
