Ahead of next week's BBC-wide focus on AI, Tom Service presents Robert Laidlow's new piece TECHNO-UTOPIA, which was co-commissioned by BBC Radio 3 for the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. It is the first orchestral piece to use embedded AI instruments and draws on thousands of hours of recordings from the orchestra's archive.
