The Lough Garman Brass Band is an award-winning band founded a decade before the popular Opera Festival had even begun. It has also performed throughout Ireland and Europe, featured reguarly on TV both in the UK and in Ireland, won every major indigenous banding prize, and was invited to represent Ireland in the 1997 European Band Championships - a formidable record for any band.

There will also be a number of leading soloists including soprano Toni Walsh. Adding to the exciting festive atmosphere will be traditonall hand-bell ringing and carol singers who have made Wexford carols famous throughout the country.
