2: Robert Worby introduces the second of two programmes from Cut and Splice 2017, a festival of experimental music and sound art held at Halle St Peter's and at Halle at St Michael's in Manchester. With acoustic, mixed media and spatially diffused electroacoustic works by Murat Colak, Lee Fraser, Sam Salem, Katherine Young, Ana Dall'Ara Majek, Sabrina Schroeder and Elsa Justel as well as a specially commissioned performative installation from Hanna Hartman. Plus a feature about the sound art programme that ran throughout the weekend at St Michael's, including Lee Patterson's The table upended, its contents strewn across the floor.
