Children's spy drama. When freak power cuts sweep the nation, the teenage spies are in the dark about who or what is to blame. A mysterious voice transmits a ransom demand: pay up or Britain will be sent back to the Dark Age. Blane thinks there's some truth in Stewart's hair-brained theory that ley lines are sucking away electricity. But Rose is unimpressed by Blane's hocus-pocus ideas.
