Welsh Heroes of World War II: Tracking the EnemySeries 1, episode 2In the second episode, we meet 91-year-old Eileen Younghusband from Sully. At just 19 she was chosen to join a select group of women who worked in the secret Filter Room - the hub of the radar system during the war. They would track hostile aircraft approaching Britain relaying information for the RAF to scramble, and to trigger air raid warnings.
