Engineer and author Roma Agrawal nominates the Indian classical dancer Mrinalini Sarabhai, who specialised in Bharatanatyam and became the first woman to perform Kathakali. She performed around the world, and married prominent scientist and industrialist Vikram Sarabhai, ging on to use dance as a way of addressing social issues.
