Mark Austin introduces the 16 men and women about to be marooned on an island in the South China Sea, and also previews the perils and tasks they face on the island itself.

The 16 will be split into two teams of 8, they will face each other and the elements in a bid to become the ultimate survivor and win a million pounds!!
