This offbeat black comedy sees two Mafia underlings - one a compulsive gambler (Danny DeVito), the other his worried Jewish pal (Joe Piscopo) - steal some of the mob's money in order to make a bundle at the racetrack. When he gets wind of it, the angry Mafia chieftain sets them up to kill each other, but they manage to flee to Atlantic City along with his credit card. Bad move...
Shot in New Jersey, this 1986 lightweight comedy from the normally-heavyweight Brian De Palma has reasonable performances from De Vito, Piscopo and Keitel. But the scene-stealer is "Captain" Lou Albano (Frank the Fixer).
