Watership Down is an animated adaptation of Richard Adams' novel featuring the voice talents of John Hurt, Richard Briers and Nigel Hawthorne.

The classic tale tells the story of Fiver the rabbit's foreseen destruction of his warren, and his quest to lead his brother bunnies to safety.

Often dark and sometimes graphically violent, the film doesn't lend itself to a normal Disney kid-friendly animation; but with this it hasn't dampened-down Adam's original story and therefore ultimately works as a well realised animation ... even with the Art Garfunkel backing track.
