Virus (1999)

Science fiction thriller in which a salvage tug encounters a seemingly deserted Russian vessel at sea.

The story starts when a Russian science ship in the South Pacific is attempting to line up its satellite dish with a Russian space station.

Soon an alien energy mass envelops the space station and invades the ship's navigational equipment by way of data transmission.

Now the crew of the "Sea Star" salvage tug decides to claim salvage on the Russian vessel which appears deserted.

When on board, however, the tug crew discover that the vessel is actually colonised by a mutating alien life form that has travelled across time and space.

In order to survive it must destroy the one threat to its existence - a virus...called the human race.
