In a refreshing, comical, modern horror-thriller, 1990's Tremors pays homage to classic 1950s B-Movies such as The Blob, Them! and Tarantula.
Valentine McKee (Kevin Bacon) and Earl Basset (Fred Ward) are two country handymen from a desolate Nevada town called Perfection. They discover gigantic man-eating worm creatures are living under the ground.
The two unlikely heroes team up with some zany characters, including a shapely seismology student who has discovered that the slightest vibration on the ground attracts the creatures, who then attack without warning. The race is on to survive and overcome these creatures - nicknamed "graboids" - before there is no-one left alive.
