A doctor diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease asks his wife to help him end his life before the condition takes hold but finds his family is divided by his controversial request. Because of his medical training, the man knows how to avoid prolonged suffering. But when his wife tells their grown-up children of his plans, the youngest son takes legal action, accusing her of plotting to murder her husband.
