Animated version of the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale about the adventures of a pocket-sized girl. When a lonely woman waters some barleycorn, a tiny girl emerges. The woman raises her as her own daughter, but Thumbelina is frustrated at being in a world designed for much larger creatures. With songs by Barry Manilow.
