Jay Duplass' debut feature is co-written with brother Mark, who also stars as Josh, a failed musician. He, together with girlfriend Emily and friend Rhett undertake to transport a Lay-Z-Boy recliner from New York to Atlanta as a surprise gift for his father. The ensuing road trip is a meandering yet always charming exploration of their relationships with each other and those they meet in their journey across America.
